                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 9 TO 
                   THE AGREEMENT WITH DENNIS W. SMITH RELATIVE 
                   TO INSPECTION SERVICES ON CONTRACT NO. 
                   SWM-2-95, DRAINAGE AND WATER QUALITY 
                   ABATEMENT, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF SIXTY-FOUR 
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($64,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
       Amendment No. 9 to the Agreement with Dennis W. Smith relative to 
       inspection services on Contract No. SWM-2-95, Drainage and Water 
       Quality Abatement, for a consideration of $64,000.00.
